A Little Dachshund Called Harvey
In 2020, when the world shut down, something small and long brought joy into our home.
His name was Harvey.
We’d always been those people, stopping and frozen in our tracks whenever a dachshund waddled by or starting barking us.
Small dog. Big energy. Strong opinions.
We were obsessed long before Harvey ever arrived into our lives.
But when he did… everything changed.
Suddenly we weren’t just dachshund admirers. we were dachshund parents.
And that’s when we realised something important:
Owning a dachshund shouldn’t feel like detective work… but it does.
Need a ramp? Every website recommends something different.
Which one prevents IVDD? Who knows.
Need a harness? “Fits all dogs” — except the one shaped like a sausage.
Need trusted answers? You’re 12 contradictory blog posts deep and still confused.
There was no single place for Dachshund owners where we could:
• trust the advice
• trust the products
• trust that someone actually understood this breed
And we couldn’t be the only ones feeling that.
So our mission became crystal clear:
Create the world’s most trusted home for dachshund lovers, where everything is built for long dogs and the people obsessed with them.
Harvey didn’t just arrive at the perfect time.
He sparked a purpose and mission for life.

We weren’t the only ones struggling to find answers and products designed for dachshunds, we just happened to be the ones who decided to fix it.
So we built more than a website.
